We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to process and store data. The data is stored in the US or Europe, and Pro account user can choose where to process and store the data. The infrastructure for each region is totally isolated from the other locations, i.e., no data processing or storage occurs outside the chosen region. The option to choose your data processing and storage location is only available as part of the Pro plan, and as part of the upgrade, the team will migrate the data to your preferred location (on the closest weekend after the upgrade).
About data processing and storage:
The data for each customer is stored in a separate database which is identified by the application identifier (appID). Furthermore, the data is stored and replicated for redundancy and failover. There are two copies in hot storage and one copy in warm storage, and the raw data is removed from all places as defined by the retention period.
