In a peer-to-peer call between Alice and Bob, for example on call.me/thecall → the conferenceID would be “thecall” or the complete URL. Alice will report herself as the localUserID and Bob as the remoteUserID, and vice-versa, Bob would report himself as the localUserID and Alice as the remoteUserID.
This results in 4 cases:
- Alice reporting on the data sent to Bob: Alice* -> Bob, note arrow reports the direction and star denotes the reporting party.
- Bob reporting on the data received from Alice: Alice -> Bob*
- Bob reporting the data sent to Alice: Bob* -> Alice
- Alice reporting on the data received from Bob: Bob -> Alice*
This nomenclature (A->B*) is used on our graphs.
Similar shades of a color represent pairs of flows where the same participant is reporting the stats:
Please note! You can zoom in on the graph using the tiny graph at the bottom (select an interval).
You can read our articles for more information about userID and conferenceID.
