We recently redesigned our dashboard UI to adapt Amazon Connect use case.
The new dashboard allows you to see the distribution of inbound and outbound calls on the discover page. The call details page shows you the agent name, contact's phone number, direction of the call, etc.
Note: The metrics which are not relevant to Amazon Connect were removed/renamed.
The very first step to enable this feature is to update your callstats.js version to the latest version, and follow the instructions to integrate our callstats.io with your Amazon Connect Streams.
Note: For the customers not using callstats-amazon-shim, please check the Integration without the SHIM section.
You can now enable the new Amazon Connect based UI by following the steps below:
- Click on the "App Settings" button on the left panel from the discover view.
- On the general tab, select "Amazon Connect" as your WebRTC SDK from the dropdown menu.
- Press the "Contact Center (Beta)" button and "Save" the settings.
- The dashboard tab will reload, this is an expected behaviour.
Integration without the SHIM
In case you are not using the callstats-amazon-shim, you will have to implement a new API called sendCallDetails. This API will determine the role of the end-point as well as direction of the call. After completing this step, you can enable the new Amazon Connect based UI.
For any technical question please send it to support@callstats.io
